Five and Under – MoPac

We just wanted to share all the 5&U details with you so that you can share with your club members.
This year the bonspiel is being held at the Granite Curling Club in Seattle from May 1-3, 2020. Game play will start on Friday morning with the first draw as early as 8:00am. Depending on the amount of teams, our event could conclude around 6:00pm on Sunday afternoon, so make travel plans accordingly.
REGISTRATION OPENS ON MONDAY JANUARY 6TH AT NOON PST at  http://www.mopacca.org/.
January 6th – 20th: The first 2 teams from each MoPac club are guaranteed a spot. Club majority is determined when 3 or more members are from the same club. Then on January 21st, remaining spots will be filled with teams in order by date/time. A waitlist will be taken as well.
Team registration fee is $280.

2020 Arena Nationals:

One female and/or male team per club can participate in this event if Club is accepted by US Curling. Should there be more than one gender team applying, there will be a playoff at club level.

It’s that time of year again when arena clubs start getting in gear for the Arena National Championships! the schedule has been determined for a field of 20 men’s and 15 women’s teams.

Team registration payment – $460 per team (nonrefundable) due on or before Jan. 17, 2020. Teams not submitting registration fees on or before the deadline will forfeit their spot and the first team on the waiting list will be notified.

We look forward to seeing you in Gillette April 27 – May 3, 2020. Practice sessions starting the morning of Monday, April 27, with an early afternoon team meeting followed by additional practice sessions and opening ceremony. The first draw will be that evening. The event will conclude the afternoon of Saturday, May 3, 2020.

Pacific International Cup

$1,000 Canadian entry fee per team, about $750 US Dollars

Hotel Reservation Form – just a reminder that all teams registering at the Host Hotel for the duration of the event will receive a $200 return of entry fee for supporting our sponsors!

Pacific International Cup – April 15 – 19, 2020

On behalf of the Pacific International Cup Committee, it is my pleasure to announce that the 21st Pacific International Cup will be held April 15 – 19, 2020 at the Richmond Curling Club.

We are pleased to advise you that your nomination of one men’s team and one women’s team for NEVADA to compete in the 2020 Pacific International Cup has been accepted.  We have a full slate of 16 men’s and 16 women’s teams and our Committee of great volunteers is looking forward to welcoming all to Richmond Curling Centre in April 2020.

Invitations to participate will be extended to Curling Associations/Clubs from Alaska, Arizona, Australia, Brazil, British Columbia, California, China, Chinese Taipei, Colorado, Hong Kong, Idaho, Illinois, India, Israel, Japan, Korea, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Zealand, North Dakota, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ohio, Oregon, Singapore, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Yukon.
