CURLING SKILLS CLINIC

Las Vegas Curling Club is offering a clinic to help you hone your curling skills in specific areas. Focus will be on improving your shot deliveries by learning the nuances of your position in the hack, balance, alignment and release, and understanding the differences of the weight of thrown rocks.

Specific set ups will be:

• TAKE OUTS:
proper form for taking out an opponent’s stone from various angles and positions within or in front of the house

• GUARDS:
how to successfully place a guard rock in front of the house

• DRAWS AND FREEZES:
better your ability to position your stones directlywithin a specific part of the house or directly beside an opponent’s stone.

All attendees will also receive video-analysis of their hack-form and stone delivery with personalized consultation from our own Level 2 Instructor Nick.
